Acceptable Use Policy

Introduction & Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all users of the GuestWire Technologies corporate website, customer authentication areas, and GuestWire product family (the "Services"). It describes conduct that is prohibited when using the Services and the actions we may take in response to violations.

Permitted Use

You may use the Services only for lawful, legitimate business purposes consistent with these Terms and your applicable agreement. You agree to use the Services responsibly, to respect the rights of other users and third parties, and to provide accurate information when submitting content or contacting us.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• access, attempt to access, or misuse accounts, systems, or data that you are not authorized to access;

• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law;
• introduce malicious software, viruses, or harmful code, or transmit material that contains viruses or other contaminants;
• send unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional material, spam, or chain letters through the Services;
• scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Services in a manner that exceeds reasonable use or violates our instructions;
• infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person, including by submitting content you do not have rights to use;
• impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation;
• submit content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable; or
• encourage, assist, or enable any of the above.

Content Standards

You are responsible for the Customer Data and content you submit through the Services. You represent that your content does not violate these Terms, our policies, or applicable law, and that you have obtained any consents required to submit personal information about others, including guest, employee, or contact data.

GuestWire may, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, restrict or remove content that we believe violates this policy or applicable law.

Account Security Responsibilities

You agree to maintain the security of your account credentials, including passwords and any organization administrator access. You will promptly notify us if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any actual or suspected security incident.

Suspected security vulnerabilities in our Services should be reported responsibly through our Security & Privacy page.

Reporting Violations

If you become aware of conduct that violates this policy, you may report it to support@guestwiretechnologies.com. Where possible, include enough detail to help us investigate. We may not respond to every report individually but will review and act on substantiated reports.

Enforcement and Consequences

We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to content, suspending or limiting account access, terminating accounts, reporting the matter to authorities, and pursuing legal action. We may take action without prior notice where we believe it is necessary to protect the Services, our customers, or others.

We reserve the right to modify or suspend access to features for users who repeatedly violate this policy.
