Responsible Disclosure

Reporting a Security Vulnerability

GuestWire welcomes responsible security research that helps us protect our customers and platform. If you believe you have identified a security vulnerability in a GuestWire website, application, or platform, please report it to us privately rather than publicly disclosing it.

  1. Report the issue in detail, including a clear description and, if possible, steps to reproduce, to our security team by email.
  2. Provide a reasonable amount of time for us to investigate and address the issue before any public disclosure.
  3. Avoid accessing, modifying, or destroying data that does not belong to you, and avoid degrading or disrupting service availability.
  4. Do not exploit the vulnerability beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the issue.

We will acknowledge reports within a reasonable time, investigate substantiated reports in good faith, and, where appropriate, credit reporters. We will not take legal action against reporters who act in good faith and follow this policy.
